Hand therapy is the specialised treatment of finger, hand, wrist, forearm and elbow injuries.

At Manawatu Hand Therapy, we have an experienced team of passionate hand therapists. We are well-equipped to provide advanced and up to date rehabilitation for our patients, helping them achieve an optimal outcome from their injuries.

Our Team

Registered Hand Therapists are Occupational Therapists and Physiotherapists who have completed additional training in assessment, treatment and splinting for conditions of the upper limb. Ongoing competency is maintained and overseen by the New Zealand Association of Hand Therapists www.nzaht.org.nz

Initial appointment 60 min ACC - no charge
Splinting - ACC - no charge
Follow up appointment 30 min ACC - no charge
Private appointment 60 min non - ACC - $80.00
Private follow up 30 min - non ACC $65.00

No referral required

If your claim is covered by ACC, we can complete your ACC45 claim form at the clinic
